3 January was a 12 hour trip from Jeffries Bay in SA to Johannesburg. With Steven getting sick on the way, gastro is not fun on the road. But coming home is always wonderful.
sick or not, we still had a couple of laughs on the way back. Our favourite being the terminology that South Africans use, one of them being the word “hey” at the end of sentences and “for real” in sentences….
Our best was when Jessica was listening to a very African song that has a Hadeda (a SA bird) in it and she said: “This is ha-de-da song!!! My favourite song!!! For real Mom!”…. Yay we are home!
